Weapons are the single biggest contributor to your DPS in TBH: Task Bar Hero. Choosing the right weapon for your level bracket can double or even triple your damage output. This guide breaks down the best weapons for every stage of the game, using data from our TBH gear calculator with 1,375+ items.
At the start of the game, you don't have many options. The Iron Broadsword (Common, Lv10) is your go-to starter weapon. It has modest base damage but reliable attack speed. Pair it with a Bone Shield for early survivability.
This is where weapon choices start to matter. The Sword of Ash (Rare, Lv25) is widely considered the best weapon in this bracket — it offers a significant base damage jump and pairs well with early crit builds. For ranged classes, the Ember Blade starts becoming available around Lv40.
At this stage, weapon rarity matters as much as base damage. Legendary-tier weapons with good stat rolls outperform lower-rarity weapons even at similar base damage values, thanks to extra crit and strength bonuses.
The Void Reaper Scythe (Immortal/Arcana, Lv75+) is the current endgame king for physical DPS builds. Its combination of high base damage, crit chance, and attack speed makes it unbeatable for Knight and Slayer classes. For casters, look for weapons with Intelligence and Cooldown Reduction.
